The Alhambra Bandurria 3C has a solid top, made from red cedar wood. This popular tone wood is known for its warm and balanced sound and it looks classy as well. The sides and the back of the body are made from laminated mahogany and the same wood species was used for the neck.
The fingerboard is made out of the finest Indian rosewood and it has 14 frets, including a zero fret right beneath the top nut. The nut itself is 50 mm (1,97 inches) wide and the Alhambra Bandurria 3C has a 268 mm scale (10,55 inches).
Tuning an 8-string instrument may take a while, but the nickel plated machine heads on this bandurria work smoothly and ensure precise tuning.
